Bella Slings are now offering a Bella Podaegi!
A podaegi (po-deh-gee) is a Korean style baby carrier. It combines a wrap and a Mei Tai in a fun and functional baby carrier.
A podaegi looks like a blanket with two long straps coming out of the two top corners. The long part of the blanket covers the child and supports their back.
The long straps are wrapped around the carrier similarly to how you tie a wrap, and it is placed under the child's bottom to support them on your back.
It can be used for back carry or front carry and is recommended for children with some head control.
My podaegis come in two sizes : Regular and Narrow. The Narrow size is for older children, and smaller women. The Regular size is the traditional width for a podaegi. It is great for smaller babies and a bit quicker to put on.
Each podaegi is double sided with a solid colored fabric. A patterned fabric can be added for just $10 more.
